TravelManagers on Choosing MintEFT

We recently spoke to Tanyu Cilek from TravelManagers to hear his thoughts on MintEFT and how it will benefit their more than 500 personal travel managers across Australia and New Zealand. Read on to hear his thoughts.

Why have you chosen MintEFT for TravelManagers?

On receiving e-Nett’s advice it was terminating its services to the travel industry, we immediately reached out to Mint to enquire if they would see value in developing a payment solution for the travel industry and would partner with TravelManagers to develop a system specific to TravelManagers home-based multiple-user business model.

We saw this as a great opportunity to work with Mint in their development of a system from the ground up and consider the future needs of TravelManagers and the industry in general. Mint comes with the existing functionality and configuration of e-Nett together with additional features many in the industry had been seeking.

How is it different from the eNett solution?

MINT has really responded to the practical experience of day-to-day e-Nett users as the layout of the platform is simple and easy to navigate.

TravelManagers operates a fully funded client account and to ensure the integrity of the client account the personal travel managers (PTM) support team at the National Partnership Office authorise all the payments created throughout the PTM network.  One of the key features of MintEFT that has been developed is an automated notification to each PTM ensuring they receive timely advice of the payments that are released each day.

Another feature we are keen to pursue is the ability to integrate MintEFT via their API with our mid-office which would eliminate duplicate processing and very much benefit the industry as a whole.

What new feature do you feel will be the biggest change in how your team use EFT?

For our network, the true mobility that will come with being able to use MintEFT online and via an app - enabling our PTM network throughout Australia to create and monitor payments on the go from their mobile device.
