Sydney, 15 December 2016: Payments processing technology provider, Mint Payments (ASX: MNW) (Mint or the Company) has partnered with one of Australia’s most affordable and adaptable travel agency software solution providers TravelPartner (Aust) Pty Ltd, signing a 2-year licence and distribution agreement to deliver its fully integrated online payments processing service to its growing network of travel agents.
TravelPartner has integrated Mint’s card payment module into its core SAAS product offering VTO (Virtual Travel Office) to enable seamless and easy credit card payment acceptance by travel agents for all travel and service fee transactions. This partnership removes the current manual effort required by the agent as the software seamlessly creates an invoice, takes payment, generates a receipt and reconciles it all against the travel booking. There is no more manual entering of data or swiping cards in EFTPOS terminals, plus the solution is fully PCI compliant.
TravelPartner’s VTO is a simple, affordable and portable web based travel industry software solution that works seamlessly with any GDS (Global Distribution System) including Amadeus, a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for the global travel industry, Sabre and Galileo. Travel agencies using TravelPartner’s travel agency software solutions will now be able to complete payments processing tasks easily via the software, taking away a very labour intensive user experience.
This partnership also creates the opportunity for TravelPartner’s travel agencies to take advantage of cost competitive merchant acquiring services provided by Mint, with additional process and cost efficiencies that will drive a significant improvement in customer experience.
TravelPartner’s CEO Keith Harris said: “Today, travel agencies not only look for simplicity, affordability, portability, compatibility and industry compliance in their travel management application but they also seek an easier way to make and reconcile payments with their customers. Our software integration with Mint dispenses the manual process of payments and delivers cost and time savings, data security, integrity and accuracy.”
Mint Payments CEO Alex Teoh said: “We are excited to work with TravelPartner as our second travel industry specialist software-as-a-service licensee of the Mint online payments service. Following on from the successful deployments of integrated payments with Tramada.
Implementation and integration between the TravelPartner and Mint systems has been completed and the TravelPartner’s application and gateway are now available as part of TravelPartner’s core product offering.
